Another Nollywood Actor, Zulu Adigwe Is Dead
The Nigerian film industry, Nollywood, has been thrown into sorrow again following the news of the passing of veteran actor, Zulu Adigwe.
Reports on Adigwe’s death surfaced in the media on Tuesday night.
Movie producer Stanley Nwoko shared the sad news of Adigwe’s demise on his Instagram page.
In his tribute to the late actor, Nwoko wrote, “May you rest in peace, talented actor.”
Adigwe’s passing comes just two weeks after the tragic boat accident in Anam River, which claimed the lives of Junior Pope and three other Nollywood actors. The actors were reportedly en route to a filming location when the incident occurred.
Throughout his career, Adigwe was widely recognized for his exceptional portrayal of fatherly characters in Nollywood films.
His breakthrough role came as Mr. B in the popular sitcom “Basi and Company.”
He also appeared in the highly successful 2019 movie “Living in Bondage: Breaking Free.”
Despite being born in Enugu State and growing up there, he eventually relocated to Austria, where he finished both his elementary and high school studies.
