Junior Pope: Burial Arrangement For Late Nollywood Actor Released
Junior Pope, the late Nollywood actor whose real name was John Odonwodo, is set to be laid to rest on Friday, May 17, 2024, as confirmed by his family.
Nation Post recalls that the 43-year-old actor tragically lost his life, along with four others, on April 10 when their boat capsized in the River Niger while returning from a movie shoot.
The funeral arrangements, as outlined in the official announcement signed by Divine Odonwodo on behalf of the family, commenced on April 23 with a requiem mass at Saint John-Mary Vianney Parish in Asaba, Delta State.
Additionally, another requiem mass is scheduled to take place at Christ the King Catholic Parish in G.R.A, Enugu, on May 13.
Following these solemn services, an evening of tributes and candlelight will be held at Amadeo Event Center in the same state on May 14.
The wake for the deceased will take place on May 16 at his residence in Uwala Abaka, Ukehe, Nsukkaa, Igboetiti, LGA of Enugu State.
Following the burial mass at St. Peter’s Parish, Ukehe, the interment will be conducted on May 17.
A final Thanksgiving mass is scheduled for Sunday, May 19, at St. Peter’s Parish in Ukche Nsukkaa, Igboetiti LGA, Enugu.
