Singer MI Under Attack Over PR Video For Gates Foundation
Popular Nigerian Singer and Rapper, MI Abaga has received backlash from Netizen after releasing a video created to promote The Gates Foundation.
Netizens referred to the PR Video as misleading and does not depict a sincere image of Nigeria.
In the video, MI was seen working on a song with lyrics, “Nigeria Go Survive, Our People Go Survive, This Continent Go Survive”. He paused, took his cell and called out to a white man(Bill Gates) asking him for help on the song”.
In the later, popular content creator “Broda Shaggi” was seen as a commercial bike rider transiting Bil Gates as his passenger to meet up with MI at the Studio.
“Shaggi” referred to the white man (Bill Gates) as a VIP when stopped by some supposed regimental Officers. He yelled that he ought not be checked since he was riding a VIP, and then zoomed off in disobedience.
However, Shaggi was in a rush taking the man to his destination which was to met M.I and Layi.
On arrival Bilk gates explained that they couldn’t complete the song because they need him.
