BBNaija Star, Mike Edwards Joins Professional Boxing
A former contestant on Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show, Mike Edwards, has revealed his entry into the world of professional boxing.
Nation Post reports that Edwards shared the news through his social media account on Friday.
Edwards will compete in the Cruiserweight category under the banner of Misfits Boxing. His first match is scheduled to be against Jake Cornish, but the date is still pending.
Edwards wrote, “Breaking News: I’m excited to announce my entry into the world of professional boxing! I’m thrilled to join the Cruiserweight division roster on @MisfitsBoxing.
“Get ready for an electrifying debut as I step into the ring to showcase my skills and determination.”
Last year, Mike Edwards challenged his junior colleague, Pere to a boxing match last year.
