Election Tribunal Upholds Victory of Kogi Governor Usman Ododo, Rules Against Ajaka
The Kogi Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting In Abuja has upheld the victory of Usman Ododo as duely elected. This was confirmed in the judgment passed earlier today by the election petition.
Recall that Kogi state held its off cycle election last year November 11th 2023. The election was alleged to be rigged with vote buying.
The Tribunal however dismissed the petition by SDP Candidate, Murtala Ajaka. The both parties had adopted their final written addresses in the course of the proceedings.
Usman Ododo has been declared Winner of the 2023 off circle Governorship elections in Kogi state. Any party who isn’t satisfied can seek further redress from a higher legal jurisdiction.
