Nigeria Air Project Remains Suspended – FG
The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo has provided a new update on the status of Nigeria Air Project.
Nation Post Confirmed this during a press briefing in Abuja on Monday. According to Festus Keyamo, the Nigeria Air Project remains suspended.
The suspension may continue to reinforce fierce eyebrows from stakeholders over the ownership arrangement and equity.
In June 2023, the House of Representatives alleged the Nigeria Air Project as fraud, seeking the suspension of the project.
Recall 2023 and less than four days to the end of former president Buhari’s administration. The then Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika announced the Nigeria Air as one of President’s monumental achievements. But until now the project is yet to takeoff.
