Tinubu Honours Late Mother, Promises Investments In Arts, Culture
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had on Tuesday 9th July 2024 said his administration will invest more in culture and arts.
He made the statement during a stage play organized in memory of his late mother, Hajiya Abibatu Mogaji, OON, MFR.
The play which was titled “Abibatu Mogaji: An Opera” was held at the Conference Centre of the State House in Abuja.
President Tinubu lost his mother on June 15, 2013. She was 96years old. Her impacts remain indelible in the sands of time.
Tinubu commended the Executive Producer and Director of the play, Mr. Ola Awakan and Dr. Ahmed Yerima respectively.
He applauded them for scripting and directing a thoroughly researched play that immortalized, rekindles memories of his mother.
The play witnessed the presence of renowned public office Executives, including, the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, the Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representative Tajudeen Abbas, amongst others.
