Planned Protest Is Politically Induced – FCT Minister Warns
Nyesom Wike, Minister the federal capital territory on Tuesday described the planned nationwide protest as politically induced.
He said the protest was aimed at diverting attention from efforts being made by the president Bola Tinubu led administration.
FCT Minister made the statement while speaking during an inspection tour of the Apo Karshi Road in Abuja.
The Minister however appealed to Nigerians to be patient as the president is working g to address the nation’s numerous challenges.
In his address note, Wike issued a seven-month ultimatum to the contractors of the Apo-Karshi Road to complete the project.
He was displeased with the lukewarm pace of work even after 80% of the contract sum had been paid.
