Ohaneze Ndigbo President Chief Iwuanyanwu Is Dead
President General of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo is dead. Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu passed on in Abuja, on Thursday.
The sad news was revealed in a statement by Jide Iwuanyanwu, son of the now late President of Ohaneze Ndigbo.
According to the statement, the 82-year-old Iwuanyanwu died after a brief illness on Thursday.
The statement reads, “The Iwuanyanwu family of Umuohii Atta, in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State announces the demise of our patriarch, Engr Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Iwuanyanwu-Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo,”.
