Dangote Refinery: Minister of State For Petroleum Meets Dangote, Leadership Of NMDPRA, NUPRC, NNPC
The honourable Minister of State for Petroleum, Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri has held a high powered meeting with major stakeholders in view of challenges surrounding the Dangote refinery.
This was confirmed in a statement by Nneamaka Okafor, SA Media and Communication to the Minister of State for Petroleum.
According to the statement, Mr. Aliko Dangote, Chairman and CEO of Dangote Group, Mr. Farouk Ahmed, Chief Executive of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, Mr. Gbenga Komolafe, Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission and Mr. Mele Kyari, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited where all present.
The meeting with Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri was premised on addressing and resolving the ongoing controversies and operational loopholes challenging the Dangote refinery.
During the meeting, the Minister was said to have highlighted the importance of cooperation and synergy among all stakeholders.
He said the cooperation and synergy will ensure the success and optimal performance of the Oil and Gas sector, which is pivotal for Nigeria’s economic growth and energy security.
