Kano Court Affirms APC Chair, Ganduje’s Suspension
The suspension of the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has been affirmed by the Kano State High Court.
The court has also prohibited Ganduje from representing himself as a member of the party.
Nation Post reports that this order was granted by Justice Usman Malam Na’abba on Tuesday, as stated in a copy of the order cited by Daily Trust.
The order was a result of an exparte motion filed by Haladu Gwanjo and Laminu Sani, represented by their counsel Ibrahim Sa’ad. Gwanjo, who serves as the party’s ward Legal Adviser, had previously announced Ganduje’s suspension.
Consequently, the court has directed Ganduje to refrain from presiding over any matters concerning the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APC.
