Breaking: DSS Arrests Youth Ahead of Nationwide Protest
On monday, Operatives of the State Service arrested a man confirmed as Aliyu Sanusi in Sokoto State.
He was arrested for allegedly printing and distributing materials related to the forthcoming nationwide protests.
The arrest was shared on X, by Omoyele Sowore, Human rights activist and Convener of the RevolutionNow movement.
As plans ahead of the proposed nationwide strike tightens, the Department of State Services (DSS) have remained alert.
Sowore has condemned the alleged arrest of Sanusi Aliyu. He immediately called for the release of the boy, describing it as “lawless behavior” by DSS.
This is happening few days after the arrest and release of Bashir Abubakar by State Service Operatives for his role in the planned nationwide protest against bad governance in Nigeria.
