BREAKING: Court Orders Ado Bayero To Stop Parading Himself As Kano Emir
Aminu Ado Bayero

A Kano State High Court has issued a ruling requiring Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero to cease claiming the title of Emir of Kano.

The court, led by Justice Amina Aliyu, on Monday, also prohibited four former Emirs from presenting themselves as Emirs of Bichi, Rano, Karaye, and Gaya.

Furthermore, the court mandated that the five former Emirs return all of their personal and government-owned properties to the Kano State government.

The judge postponed the proceedings until July 18 to address requests for an extension of time, a notice of preliminary objection, a request to join other parties, and a request for the judge to recuse herself.
