Zainab Shuaibu Appointed As AFAA Director, Corporate Partnership and Operations
Renowned and meticulous Nigerian Artist, Zainab Shuaibu has been appointed by the African Fashion and Arts Award (AFAA).
She was appointed during the weekend as the Corporate Partnership and Operations Director.
Nation Post confirmed that the appointment of Zainab Shuaibu is coming at a time when the organization is faced with a myriad of international functions.
In a statement by Mr. Kingsley Amako, the President of African Fashion and Arts Award (AFAA), he explained the several project his organization will be engaging across the African continent..
He says, “In less than two (2) weeks, we will be in Nairobi, Kenya to continue with the Fashion & Arts business and Mentorship summit and the AFAA East Africa Fashion & Arts Expo”.
“in October 2024, the 4th anniversary of the annual AFAA Awards will be held in Cape Town, South Africa”.
The ontology of Zainab Shuaibu’s works cannot be overemphasized. Her emotive abstract paintings often explores themes of blending traditional African patterns and motifs.
The flawless combination of identity, cultures and relatable narratives in her charming and fascinating works has remained an artistic anthropology which many young African Artists are yet to discover.
Some of the notable achievements of Zainab Shuaibu may include, live painting performance at Palazzo Cavalli Franchetti in Venice, Southampton Illustrators Showcase, New Designers London Exhibition, amongst others.
