Silas Agara Takes Charge As NDE Director General
A former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Mr. Silas Agara was in Saturday appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to take charge of the Nigeria Directorate of Employment.
The statement confirming the appointment was made available to newsmen by the special senior Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity Ajuri Ngelale.
Silas Agara is now the Director General of the Nigeria Directorate of Employment. He is required to overhaul the Nigeria Directorate of Employment.
His duty includes optimizing the Agency’s performance in designing and implementing programs to combat mass unemployment.
Silas Agara is a Nigerian politician who hails from Nasarawa state. He is a sport enthusiast and served as Special Adviser on Sports to the Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Adamu. He was later announced as the running mate to Umaru Tanko Al-Makura in 2015.
