President Tinubu Jets Off To The Netherlands On Official Visit

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to commence an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands today. The purpose of this visit is to engage in high-level discussions with Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

According to a statement released last night in Abuja by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Prime Minister Rutte himself invited the Nigerian president.

During his time in the Netherlands, President Tinubu will have separate meetings with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima.

Additionally, he will also meet with the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA), Queen Maxima.

Furthermore, President Tinubu will actively participate in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum. This forum aims to foster collaboration and partnerships between Nigerian and Dutch businesses, with a particular focus on agriculture and water management. The objective is to explore and capitalize on the various opportunities available for cooperation between the two nations in these sectors.

The Nigerian leader is also scheduled to travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to participate in a special World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting taking place on April 28-29.

This gathering, centred around Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development, aims to convene more than 1,000 influential figures from the realms of business, government, and academia.

The President’s forthcoming visits to The Netherlands and Saudi Arabia are widely regarded as crucial endeavors in advancing Nigeria’s economic growth and development.
