Ogoni Land: FG To Complete Construction of CEER In Rivers State
The Tinubu led administration has reiterated it’s commitment to the socioeconomic development of Nigerians and especially the Ogony people.
This was confirmed during a tour around the soon-to-be completed Center of Excellence for Environmental Restoration (CEER).
The institution which is a site to behold accommodates an urban environmental outlook suitable for learning and development research.
When completed, CEER will serve as a national and international institution for research into environmental remediation, data repositories and other integrated tasks.
It is in line with the visionary Cleanup Exercise in Ogoni Kingdom initiated to alleviate the suffering created from environmental pollution.
Recall in 2023, when the former President Muhammadu Buhari flagged off its construction as a key component of Ogoni Clean-up exercise in Rivers State.
