Notable Personalities To Attend Public Presentation Of Books By Princess(Mrs) Omobolanle Ogundiran In Abuja

A renowned criminology Expert, Philosopher and Politician, Princess (Mrs) Omobolanle Ogundiran Ph.D, DSc, is set to host a Public Presentation for three(3) of her newly researched works.

A statement by Princess (Mrs) Omobolanle on Sunday confirmed that her new books will be publicly presented on Wednesday at the HQ NAF Center, Banquet Hall, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The event is anticipated to attract the presence of notable academic Scholars, distinguished personalities, security experts, youth groups, women groups and stakeholders in the nation’s academic sector and from sociopolitical institutions.

The public presentation is part of activities by Princess (Mrs) Omobolanle towards socioeconomic development, through the critical consciousness of philosophical evolution, technological advancements and strategic community involvement to combat insecurity.

The books are, “The Intersection of Technology & reality in Nigeria”, “Preventing Crime through Community Policing” and ” The Impact of Social Media on Deviance and Social Control in Nigeria.”

According to the Chief Author, the books have been subjected to scrutiny and contributions by high level academicians in Nigeria and across Africa, including academic professors, experts, Vice Chancellors, amongst others.

She stresses that the books accommodate knowledge garnered from integrated research on insecurity, community policing, technological realism, agitations and crime control strategies.

She further stated that the books will be in volumes and it will be widely distributed to various institutions and locations, including, Police Force Headquarters, Police Commands, Security Agencies, National Libraries, State Libraries and Universities.

“This will ensure that the book reaches a diverse audience, including law enforcement personnel, security experts, Ministry of technology and its outfit, researchers, students, and the general public”, she added.
