On Monday, sunny skies are predicted, with some patches of clouds over the northern region. Later in the day, isolated thunderstorms could also occur over parts of Taraba State.

Nation Post reports that the forecast anticipates sunny skies with cloud patches over the North Central region, and thunderstorms are possible over parts of Benue State during the afternoon and evening.

In the southern states, cloudy skies are expected with the possibility of morning thunderstorms over parts of Cross River and Akwa Ibom states.

“In the afternoon to evening hours, isolated thunderstorms are anticipated over parts of Ondo, Ogun, Oyo, Imo, Abia, Edo, Ebonyi, Delta, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Bayelsa states,” NiMet predicted.

NiMet’s forecast for Tuesday includes sunny skies with some clouds in the northern region. Later in the day, isolated thunderstorms may occur in Adamawa, Kaduna, and Taraba states.

Moving to the North Central region, NiMet predicts predominantly cloudy weather with chances of isolated thunderstorms in Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Plateau, and Nasarawa states during the afternoon and evening hours.

In the southern states, a cloudy atmosphere is expected in the morning, followed by isolated thunderstorms later in the day in Ondo, Ekiti, Osun, Oyo, Imo, Abia, Enugu, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Cross River, Bayelsa, Delta, and Lagos states.

NiMet forecasted a sunny atmosphere with patches of clouds in the northern region and isolated thunderstorms in Taraba, Adamawa, and Kaduna states during the late hours of Wednesday.

The North Central region is expected to be cloudy with intervals of sunshine in the morning, followed by isolated thunderstorms in the Federal Capital Territory, Plateau, Niger, Kwara, and Kogi later in the day.

NiMet also predicted a cloudy atmosphere with isolated thunderstorms in Akwa Ibom, Rivers, and Cross River states during the morning.

Thunderstorms are anticipated in Imo, Enugu, Anambra, Ekiti, Ondo, Ogun, Edo, Ebonyi, Delta, Lagos, Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, and Cross River states later in the day.

The agency advised the public to take necessary precautions as solid winds may precede rain in areas prone to thunderstorms.
