Lagos State Governor Receives USAID Mission Director Melissa Jones
The Executive Governor of Lagos State HE Babajide Sanwo Olu, has received a delegation from the United States Agency For International Development (USAID) Mission.
The USAID delegation was lead by the Mission Director, Melissa Jones and received at the Lagos House Marina today, Tuesday May 2024.

According to Gboyega Akosile, discussions focused on major critical sectors including environmental development, water resources, health, agriculture, energy and the creative industries.
Speaking during the reception, Governor Sanwo Olu spoke extensively on the role his administration has played in the area of child mortality through the Safe Birth Delivery Initiative.
More healthy conversations and engagements are underway as Lagos State and USAID will be synergizing efforts for interventions in critical concerned areas.
