The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) has officially sealed the 4U Supermarket, formerly known as the Amigo Supermarket, in Abuja.

Nation Post understands that this action was taken on Thursday due to unfair practices carried out by the management.

FCCPC officials sealed the supermarket as part of an enforcement exercise in various parts of the nation’s capital.

The purpose of this exercise was to enforce price display and quantity compliance in response to consumer concerns regarding the increasing costs of goods, which contradict the recent strengthening of the naira against major currencies.

The Commission emphasized that price discrepancies continue to be a significant problem.
