Digital Economy: Sen. Izunazo Joins Youth Stakeholders, Leaders To Explore New Strategies
As Nigeria continually seeks modern strategies for economic revolution, the need to deploy and explore vibrant digital roadmaps to meet global competitiveness may have remained inevitable.
The forthcoming national conversation is powered by Nigeria Youths Stakeholders Conversation with the theme “Digital Economy Transition: Roadmap to Global Competitiveness and Sustainable Growth”.
The conversation will witness the participation of key stakeholders in the nation’s economic framework including the Chairman, Senate Committee on Capital Market, Senator Osita Izunazo.
This high level conversation holds on August 27th at International Conference Center(ICC), Abuja. Distinguished participants include, Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, the Chairman Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Ola Koyede, the Director General National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Hon. Peter Tokoni, SA to the President on ICT Development and Innovation and Ayodele Olawande, Hon. Minister of State for Youth Development.
The program targets innovations that will be recommended for urgent implementation. It coincides with the global economic vision and assures Nigerians that the path to digital economic transition is yet another economic marathon that cannot be lost.
At a press conference in Abuja, the Convener NYSConversation and the Executive Director, Nigeria Youth in Politics, Blessing Oyefeso said Nigeria Youth Stakeholders Conversation is a platform that brings together policymakers, Industry Experts, Regulatory Agencies, social impact makers, to explore various strategies that will advance Nigeria social economy and sustainable development.
According to Oyefeso, the third edition of NYSConversation is aimed at promoting digital economy transition, amplify Nigeria’s global competitiveness in digital economy, in order to achieve sustainable growth for the Nation.
NYSConversation 3.0 according to organizers is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 27th, 2024, at the ICC (Exhibition Pavilion), Abuja, 10am prompt.
The group listed the promotion of digital economy transition and global competitiveness of Nigeria as Africa’s digital economy leader to identify opportunities and challenges in Nigeria’s digital eco-space, to foster collaboration and partnership among stakeholders as well as to celebrate innovation and excellence in digital entrepreneurship.
Other guests expected in attendance include, Sen. Osita Izunaso, the Chairman Senate Committee on Capital Market, Sen. Tony Nwoye, the Deputy Chairman Committee on Anti-Curruption and Financial, the Chief Presenter of a book that will be Unveiled, Titled ; TALENT REBOOT (Harnessing Nigeria youth Cybercrime skills for economic growth, Hon. Tosin Adeyanju, Executive Secretary National Lottery Trust Fund Prof. Abdullahi Mustapha, DG National Biotechnology Research and Development Agency and Amb. Sowemimo Abiodun, Founder Cyberpedia internet governance and other distinguished guests and panelists.
