Dele Challenges Wike, Describes TV Appearance As Arrogant, Chaotic
FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike has received a wipe from veteran journalist and media mogul, Dele Momodu.
The Publisher of Ovation Int’l Magazine described Wike as a political time-bomb that has been let loose on Nigerians.
Momodu, had taken a swipe at the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, following what he described as an arrogant and chaotic appearance on Channels TV’s “Politics Today” on Sunday night.
He made the reaction in a statement titled “Nyesom Wike: A Bull in the China Shop,” Momodu accused Wike of launching personal attacks and showing blatant disregard for critics while being “clearly intoxicated with power—and perhaps more.”
He said the minister’s comments were not only reckless but also a direct insult to Nigeria’s democratic principles.
He added that Wike had looked and sounded like someone under the influence of esoteric spirits, launching verbal missiles at anyone who dares question his actions.
“He’s clearly too young to grasp the sacrifices made to bring Nigeria back to democracy in 1999.”
