BREAKING: Nigerian Filmmaker, Frank Vaughan Dies

A Nigerian filmmaker and former Vice President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria (DGN), Frank Igho Okpokoro Vaughan, has reportedly passed away.
Vaughan, who hailed from Delta State, succumbed to a long-standing illness in Warri on Tuesday.
His younger brother, Philip Okpokoro, a cinematographer and series director of the Nigerian Idols reality TV show, confirmed the sad news.
Vaughan, an influential figure in the Nigerian movie industry, played a significant role in shaping the industry and mentoring aspiring filmmakers.
In addition to his work as a movie director, he was also a seasoned TV producer/director and a current affairs and political analyst. Prior to his passing, Vaughan, who was in his 1960s, served as a pastor at Dominion City Church in Asaba, Delta State.
