Kidnapped Channels TV Reporter In Rivers State Regains Freedom
Joshua Rogers, a reporter for Channels Television, who was recently kidnapped in Rivers State by some unknown gunmen, has been released.
Nation Post reports that the incident occurred on Thursday night around 9 pm when he was followed to his home.
His captors approached him at gunpoint and drove off with him in his own vehicle. Following the abduction, the criminals contacted his wife and demanded a ransom of N30 million.
Shortly after the news broke, various organizations advocated for his safe return.
However, it remains uncertain whether any money was exchanged for his release.
Rogers was later seen at his brother’s house, surrounded by loved ones who were praising God. The Rivers State Police Command has not issued an official statement regarding the situation.
