Breaking: Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh Assassinated In Iran
Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of Hamas, a group behind the Oct 7 attack on Gaza in Israel has been assassinated in Tehran, Iran.
The assassination of Hamas leader, Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran has continue to attract various investigations from security agencies and majorly Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard.
Although, Israel has remained committed in its fight to take down leaders of the Hamas group over the Oct 7 attack on Israel killing 1,200 people and taking 250 Israelis as hostage.
Iran’s statement gave no details on how Haniyeh was killed. The New York Times was the first to report the incident.
Iranian state television reported on his death early Wednesday, and analysts immediately began blaming Israel for the attack.
Israel itself did not immediately comment but it often doesn’t when it comes to assassination carried out by their Mossad intelligence agency.
