Atiku, Sanwo-Olu, Condemns “IgboMustGo” Online Campaign In Lagos
Few hours ago, the Internet went agog with an online campaign in Lagos communities tagged “Igbo Must Go.”
In this regard, Former vice president Atiku Abubakar and Lagos State Governor Sanwo-Olu has condemned the hate speech
Atiku described it as deeply troubling. He explained that the campaign is fundamentally opposed to the principles of unity and coexistence that define our nation.”
On the other hand, Lagos Governor Sanwo-Olu condemned the online post. He explained that it’s want just reckless and divisive but also an attempt to sow a seed of discord between the Yoruba in the South-West and other tribes.
They both made the reactions on their X accounts few hours ago. This is happening at a time when Nigerians are protesting against bad governance, hunger and hardship.
