The Abuja Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended 29 individuals believed to be involved in internet fraud.

The arrests took place in the Apo, Gwarimpa, and Katampe areas of Abuja. Yahoo Boy is a popular term used to refer to internet fraudsters.

Acting on credible information, the anti-graft agency successfully apprehended these suspects.

During the operation, authorities confiscated 43 phones of various brands, six vehicles, and two smartwatches. Once the investigations are completed, the suspects will face legal charges in court.
