President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has consented to the appointment of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Board.
Ajuri Ngelale, the Presidential spokesperson, announced this in a statement on Friday, emphasizing that the President has encouraged all board members to utilize their extensive experience and skills in overseeing the nation’s capital market.
Below is the full list of the appointed members of the SEC Board:
- Mr. Mairiga Aliyu Katuka – Chairman
- Mr. Emomotimi Agama – Director-General
- Frana Chukwuogor – Executive Commissioner (Legal and Enforcement)
- Mr. Bola Ajomale – Executive Commissioner (Operations)
- Mrs. Samiya Hassan Usman – Executive Commissioner (Corporate Services)
- Mr. Lekan Bello – Non-Executive Commissioner
- Mr Kasimu Garba Kurfi – Non-Executive Commissioner
