$65M Fraud: Tinubu Minister Ahmed Dangiwa Must be Invited
The recent investigation into a $65 million uncompleted Goodluck Legacy Estate cannot be complete without critical investigation into the administration of Ahmed Dangiwa.
Reports have noticed glitches in the investigation carried out by the Independent corrupt practices and other related offenses commission(ICPC).
Not investigating or inviting Ahmed Dangiwa over the $65million NHF housing projects is unprofessional.
Ahmed Dangiwa is the current Minister of Housing and Urban Development. He was a former MD of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria.
Under Mr Kumo, a former CEO of Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria before Dangiwa commenced the Goodluck Legacy Estate Project, but was handed over to the new management on the 14th February, 2016.
Before the handover Dr. Gimba Kumo and his management team followed up the procedures alongside the technical partners. But the project met a stalemate when the new administration under Dangiwa took over.
Under Dangiwa’s management, reports were gathered that the NHF project(Goodluck Legacy Estate) of 926 housing Units in FCT contracted to Great Heart Power Nigeria Limited was stalled.
Reasons behind his actions to frustrate the contractors and developers have remained unknown. Unfortunately the ICPC has kept a blind eye to the situation for reasons described by security experts as unprofessional.
Before now, the attention of ICPC had been drawn to investigate the management after Gimba Yau Kumo which was led by Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, who is a Minister under President Tinubu’s Administration.
Under his Leadership as the CEO of FMBN, Dangiwa was said to have intentionally stalled the Goodluck Legacy housing development projects initiated by his predecessor.
His displaced political will and lack of focus has denied Nigerians opportunities and privilege to affordable housing.
Therefore the attention of the president is now drawn to the political history of his minister whose anti people perspective cannot be relied on.
The FMBN (Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Legacy Estate) is a Model Housing Estate Development.
It is located on Plot 4 & 5, Cadastral Zone D12, Kaba District, FCT Abuja. The development is designed to deliver all the services of a modern urban sitting.
It also includes eight categories of residential housing types with ancillary facilities such as Schools, Shopping/Retails Centers, Worship Centers, Maintenance Facilities, Integrated Organic Hybrid Agro Facility (Nutridome) and a dedicated Power and Waste Recycling Plant.
